Commitment
 
† Weekly attendance of sessions from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm
† Sessions: from 1st June 2010 to 14 June 2011.
† Full attendance except for unforeseen circumstances.

Assurances

No undue pressure to be baptized.
†

No threats about “fires of hell”.
†

One is totally free to discontinue the journey at any time.

†

One is baptized only if he or she freely, sincerely and seriously decides to live a committed Catholic Christian faith for life.

Accompaniment
 

A Catholic Sponsor will support you throughout the journey.

 

Stages of Journey

Period of Enquiry (7 weeks)
 
† Search for a deeper meaning in life and the relevance of God in our daily living
† Meaning of God and the Basics of the Roman Catholic Christian Faith

2.

Period of Faith Formation (32 weeks)

Who is God and the Core Beliefs of the Roman Catholic Christian Faith, and living the faith through the Sacraments
†

Getting to know the Person of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord
†

Sacred Scriptures (Bible); Prayer; Mary’s Role in Salvation History & Moral Teachings of the Church

3.

Period of Preparation (6 weeks)
 

For Holy Week and Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist

4.

 Period of Deepening of Faith (7 weeks)
