CCD CLASS / LOCATION / TEACHERS

CCD (Catechism for the International Schools) begins their FIRST TERM in 2011 on :

•

Term One: September 13 – December 8, 2011
•

Term Two: January 17 –  May 24, 2012
•

First Holy Communion Mass - Saturday, May 19, 2012.
•

Confirmation Mass - Saturday, May 12, 2012.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
•  Classes start at 3:45pm and end at 4:45pm.
•  Thursday Confirmation Class starts at 3:45pm and ends at 5:00pm.
•  Sunday Confirmation class starts at 3:45pm and ends at 5:30pm.

 

All students are expected to arrive on time.  It is very disruptive to the teacher and the class when students habitually arrive late. Please pick up your children promptly from St Ignatius Hall Annex.

 

All teachers will be leaving soon after dismissal.  Children who are still waiting after 5:00pm will be sent to wait for their pick-up at the Church office, which is located above the Church.

CCD officially stands for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. CCD is a faith formation program for Catholic children, aged 5 ½ to 14 years old in international schools.


CCD program differs from the Church weekend catechism program in that the CCD calendar runs from September to May catering for international students.  CCD classes are offered on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. Confirmation classes are held on either Thursdays or Sundays. Refer to CONFIRMATION section for more details.
