ST IGNATIUS RCIY

(Rites of Christian Initiation for Youth) 2010 commences Saturday 8 May,
4 – 6 pm.

 

Calling all youths aged 15 to 21, have you ever questioned, “Who is God? Why am I here?” Or do you know of a non-Catholic friend who wants to find out more about God and self? Tune in to God and join us at RCIY (Rites of Christian Initiation for Youth) to find out more about the Catholic Faith!

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION FOR ADULTS - 2010 

Archbishop Nicholas Chia will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation at Church of St Ignatius, Singapore on  Saturday 16 October at 3 pm for the youth in our CCD Programme.

Any unconfirmed adults wishing to be confirmed at this time, please download Form from the website or get one from the church office (available outside church office) and hand them in before 8 August  together with Baptism Certificate

I urge priests, religious and lay people to continue and redouble their efforts to teach the younger generations the meaning and value of Eucharistic adoration and devotion. How will young people be able to know the Lord if they are not introduced to the mystery of His presence?

TRAFFIC REGULATIONS

Please take note of the following Traffic Regulations which have been put in place to help our parishioners and visitors.

St Ignatius Church Traffic Regulations:
1. Please drive carefully:  Our Church grounds is crowded with people especially children.
2. Double Parking/Obstructing?  Please put your contact Number (on your windscreen) so that we can contact you in urgent needs e.g. reparking. 
3. Another Mass Following?  Please exit soon after Mass.  This is to avoid traffic congestion with incoming cars.
4. Leaving Early?  Please park at the public multi-storey car park at Empress Road, or the dead end road of King’s Road. 
5. Residential Area Roads: Please do not park in these areas and do not obstruct private house driveways.

PHASE 2 RENOVATION - SACRED HEART HALL
Phase 1 Renovations to Sacred Heart Hall have been completed.

Phase 2 Renovations to building adjoining St Ignatius Hall have now commenced.
Caution: All youth/children attending classes at St Ignatius premises are reminded that the construction area is out of bounds for safety reasons. Only the left stair case of Sacred Heart Hall is to be used for access upstairs. Parents please advise your youth/children.
