Revised Roman Missal

The Catholic Church will be introducing a Revised Roman Missal universally.  This will be formally implemented on 27th November 2011, the First Sunday of Advent.  The new translation is deliberately closer to the original Latin, so that it captures more fully the theological and spiritual meaning of the original text.

As instructed by the Archdiocesan Liturgy Commission, formation sessions will be conducted for all parishioners in October.  Parish Liturgical ministries have started formation by the Archdiocesan Liturgy Commission.

TURNING POINT - A JUBILEE PRODUCTION

St Ignatius Church will be putting up a theatrical production based on the Life of St Ignatius of Loyola to bring the church's jubilee celebration to a close. The organising team is looking for interested parishioners to come join on this journey and fill the following positions:

Marketing/Publicity Comm, Sponsorship Comm, Costume Designer and Multi-media Designer.
