Leading little ones to god

Initiated by a group of expatriate mothers in the parish some 14 years ago, the programme is now run by parish volunteers comprising local and expatriate mothers.

The main objective is faith formation in the young children of the parish, in partnership with their parents.

Children attend one-hour lessons taught by 2-member teaching teams who help them imbibe Christian principles through fun and interactive story-telling of Bible stories, action songs, games, role-playing, and art & craft activities.

These are seamlessly merged into a curriculum that celebrates important events and catechetical milestones in the liturgical calendar.

Parents, who wish to reinforce the lessons learnt at home, are encouraged to observe the lessons and help out in the programme, wherever possible.

Parents who wish to participate actively in the faith formation of their young ones are also encouraged to volunteer in the programme.
