"I am the resurrection and the life"
The central figure of the Risen Lord shall stand at the heart of the Columbarium of the Church of St Ignatius.
A retreat of light and tranquility, situated in the basement of the building, this place of repose is further enhanced by a soft green landscaped garden.
The air-conditioned columbarium will offer 2,700 niches — 2,250 Family niches and 450 Community niches. The former will accommodate a maximum of 2 urns, the latter 8.
The elegant marble-faced niches will be arrayed in rows within separate enclaves, each bearing the name of a Jesuit martyr. Areas between the enclaves will afford space for memorial plaques.
Throughout the columbarium, decorative murals will provide a sense of the joy of resurrection, with crafted seating serving as restful prayerfulness for family, friends and faithful in the presence of their departed loved ones.
