This sacrament is a means of strength for the sick person and the support of the Church to pray with and for the sick person.

What you might want to consider when someone you love is seriously ill

When a Catholic person is seriously ill:

	1.	Call any Catholic Priest for the Sacrament of the anointing of the sick.   Please see the list of Catholic Churches in Singapore at the bottom of this page.
	2.	Ministry of Pastoral Care for the Elderly and the Sick (PaCES) At our parish, members journey with the housebound elderly and the sick. This usually involves home and hospital visits, praying with them, bringing Holy Communion and arranging for the Sacrament of Anointing when necessary.
