PART B:

Parish Wedding Celebration – Conditions

i. Cheque made payable to “ Church of St Ignatius” through Parish Secretary.

ii. Official Receipt of the Church will be issued by secretary immediately upon the receipt of the cheque payment.

iii. Floral Arrangements Provided by Church “Flower Ladies” Ministry:

  • The ordinary Church weekly floral arrangements in the Church.

If wedding couples wish to use this arrangement, then NO charge.

  • If wedding couples wish the “Flower Ladies” to arrange special Wedding flowers, then the basic charge is $200.00. Note that these are non-exotic flowers.

But, if exotic flowers are requested, then the costs of such flowers will have to be borne by the wedding couple (invoice of the flowers will be provided.)

Note that all flowers arranged by the “Flower Ladies” are to remain in the Church and NOT to be removed by the wedding couple(s). If there is more than one wedding on the same day, the Flower Ladies Ministry will only make one floral arrangement.

  • Sharing of Costs: There is a “first-come-first served” basis. The above regulations are for wedding couples who make the first reservation of the Church for the day of the wedding.

  • Thus, a wedding couple who makes a later wedding reservation will have to abide by the choice of colours of the flowers of the “first” couple. The first couple will pay $200.00 and second/“later” couple will pay $100.00.

In the event that the first wedding couple chooses to use the Church’s floral arrangement, and thus, no charge, then the “later” couples have the right to have special wedding floral arrangements. This latter couple will bear the full cost of $200.00 and the former couple will have to accept what the latter couple has chosen.

iv. Outside Florist: Wedding couple can use outside florist under the following conditions:

(i) If they wish to have floral arrangements for pews, place of gathering, signing and reception tables. However, these floral arrangements must be removed from the Church’s premises by the wedding family immediately after the Wedding Mass/Service.

(ii) Our Church’s specification of such floral arrangements at Church pews must be strictly adhered to. *(see samples attached.)

v. Flower Lady Contact: The Parish secretary provides the “Flower Ladies” with the contact details of the wedding couple. The “Flower Ladies” will then contact the wedding couple for follow-up.
