With the concern of rising cases of dementia in Singapore, D’Fellowship was set up in February 2017 to fulfil the parish goal of being an inclusive and dementia-friendly church community.
Our ministry provides fellowship to cater to the physical and spiritual well-being of our parishioners who have dementia through structured physical exercises, relevant games, music, singing, and art and crafts. Religious and spiritual elements are incorporated into every session. We aim to show them that they are still a part of our church and that they are all very precious to us.
Volunteers are trained by Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) of Singapore and refresher courses are held periodically. We also work very closely with priests of the Parish who provide the spiritual guidance for volunteers, participants and accompanying caregivers.
Due to COVID-19, meetings are suspended until further notice
