Liturgy of the Word for Children (LOWC)

Children aged 3 to 10 years, during the Sunday 8am mass, are invited to experience God’s love through the proclamation of the Gospel in LOWC sessions. The Proclaimer receives the Children's Lectionary and leads the children out to the La Storta room where the Sunday's Gospel is proclaimed to them in a manner where the children can understand the readings. The children bring up the Offertory Gifts and re-join the parents for the rest of the Sunday liturgy.

We also organise activities to help the children experience the various liturgical seasons and special occasions e.g. Palm Sunday Children's Procession, Easter Egg hunt, and Children's Day Mass.

LOWC sessions commence with the Weekend Catechetical year and there are no sessions during the Singapore school holidays.

No registration is required to join our sessions, simply listen out for the lector's invitation during mass to join the procession to the La Storta room.
