Eucharistic Adoration at St Ignatius

Adoration Room at Sacred Heart hall

(open every day, 8.00am to 10.00pm)

Come and spend some time adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Prayer Cards on ‘Jesus Compassionate Love’ is available for you at the Parish Adoration Room at Sacred Heart.

Pope John Paul II, Defender and Apostle of Eucharistic Adoration:
"The Church and the world have great need of Eucharistic adoration. Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Him in adoration and contemplation full of faith. And let us be ready to make reparation for the great faults and crimes of the world. May our adoration never cease."
(Dominicae Cenae: Letter to Priests, Holy Thursday, 1980)

DVC Youth
(for the youth @ St Ignatius)

The DVC youth community has a strong presence in the Parish of the Church of St. Ignatius, and is deeply involved in bringing life to the church throughout the liturgical year. “De Vita Christi” means “The Life of Christ” and captures the community's deep desire to live out Christ-like, God-centred lives.

NCCs are:

One – they are united with the parish and with each other.

Holy – they are Christ-centred, they do gospel-sharing and engage in other forms of prayer.

Catholic – they welcome everybody, they are not exclusive by age or interest etc.

Apostolic – they serve and evangelise (mission in action).
