You can register your child for CCD if your child is in any of the following grades: Pre-K & Kindergarten (age 3-5), G1, 3-7

There is a fee of $30 per student to cover administrative costs. Payment can be made via PAYNOW to UEN T08CC4052A CHURCH OF ST IGNATIUS. To allow us to trace each transaction, please indicate the following information on your online transactions: CCD+Grade+Child’s Name (ex. CCDG2JohnSmith).

Please Note: In view of numerous payments/transactions received by the church finance department, failure to indicate remarks CCD + Grade + Child’s Name on the PayNow, will render the amount to be taken as a donation to the church as we are unable to link your payment to CCD, i.e. Registration Payment to CCD unpaid/outstanding

First Holy Communion (FHC) & Special Holy Communion Classes (SHC)
First Holy Communion classes are for children in Grade 2 (7 years old by September 2026) and Special Holy Communion Classes are for older children in Grades 3 - 7 (aged 8 to 12 years) who have not received their First Holy Communion. 
 

Children must be baptised before March 2027 in order to participate in the preparation for the sacraments. Please contact the Church Office to arrange for your child’s baptism. This is the responsibility of parents. Non-baptised children will not be eligible for FHC.

If your child has been baptised in another Christian denomination, your child will have to attend a Rite of Reception into the Catholic Church first. Please click here to download and complete the Rite of Reception Declaration form and submit it together with your registration.

A completed registration includes:

• A copy of the acknowledgement of the online registration,

• A copy of the child's Catholic Baptism Certificate

• A screenshot of your $130 online payment

• A copy of the Rite of Reception form for other denomination Christian children to be received into the Catholic Faith

Reminder: children are required to be 7 years old by September 2026 and the only exceptions are children who have completed Grade 1 CCD.

Attendance policy reminders:
Please ensure your children attend the weekly classes. For students receiving their First Holy Communion, attendance is strictly monitored and enforced and a threshold of 80% attendance is required by the Diocese in order to receive the sacraments.

Confirmation Programme 

Confirmation classes are held on Sundays, 3.30pm - 5.30pm. Candidates should be at least 13 years old by the time of class begins and not older than 18. Baptized and must have completed the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. For inquiries, please contact ccdconfirmation@gmail.com.

A completed registration includes:

• An online registration

• Submission copies of the baptismal and First Holy Communion Certificates to ccdconfirmation@gmail.com

• Confirmation Program Fee of $350

•  Signed and submitted the confirmation contract

Only students with a completed registration will be assigned to classes. 

Attendance policy reminders:

Please ensure your children attend the weekly classes, the retreat and the community services. For students receiving their confirmation, attendance is strictly monitored and enforced of 100% (with a threshold of 4 makeup sessions). Attendance is required by the Diocese in order to receive the sacrament.

ACATS - Already Confirmed And Teaching Stuff
We are a Post-Confirmation group of high school students who wish to remain active in the Church community and connected with their CCD friends, ACATS mentors the Confirmation class of 60+ candidates as well as meets for fellowship and spiritual formation.
