CCD ANNOUNCEMENT – 01 September 2022
Registration for CCD Faith Formation classes for the Year 2022-2023 Intake (school terms from September 2022 to May 2023) for G1-G7, First Holy Communion & Confirmation opened from 1 August - 31 August 2022, has now been extended. Please proceed with the registration which is STRICTLY via ONLINE.
Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) - For International School Students

Catechism classes are conducted at the Annex Building on Tuesdays or Thursdays (4.00pm - 5.00pm) for G1 to G7 and Sundays for Confirmation Grade (3.30pm - 5.20pm). Drop-off by car/school bus is via 8 Victoria Park Road, Singapore 266492.
In tandem with registration for students, the CCD Ministry is also actively recruiting parents to join our team of catechists. Each year, with expatriate families moving away from Singapore or mothers re-joining the workforce, our team of catechists is always changing. We therefore would like to invite old and new CCD parents to seriously consider becoming a catechist for the next term. We will help train parents and will provide access to digital and analogue resources for lessons.
Since CCD is entirely run by volunteers, our classes are contingent on the availability of catechists. We seek parents’ understanding that should we be unable to recruit catechists, we may have to cancel some classes. We thank all CCD families for their continued support of our faith formation program for international school children. Should you have questions, please drop us an email at CCDStignatius@gmail.com.

Resources
1. Bus Coordinators
One-way bus transport from school to the Church is provided from schools that have parents volunteering to be CCD Bus Coordinators. A parent volunteer will organise bus transportation from school to the Church, if there is sufficient demand. Availability of a volunteer and the demand from each school vary from year to year.
In the past, parent volunteers have organised one-way bus transport from their child's school to the Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Many of the bus coordinators from last year have moved away. Please volunteer to organise the CCD bus from your child's school.
The fee varies from school to school depending on the numbers and is payable to the Bus Coordinator directly. The bus request made on the CCD online registration form (around early August to early September) will be given to the Bus Coordinator and used to determine demand for a bus from schools.
You must contact the Bus Coordinator directly to arrange bus transport. The Church does not organise nor is responsible for bus transportation.
