Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Are you searching for God? Are you drawn to the Catholic Church? Or are you simply curious? You might find your answers in the RCIA journey at the Church of St. Ignatius.

The RCIA exists to help people who are interested in the Catholic faith. Through prayer, reflecting on scripture, listening to testimonies, spiritual conversations, and catechesis, candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of the Catholic beliefs and practices with the possibility of these candidates being baptised (inquirers) or received (Christians of other denomination) at the end of each RCIA journey. As an RCIA program in a Jesuit parish, our journey will also contain elements of Ignatian Spirituality that help participants encounter God in his or her own ongoing history.

Our parish community warmly welcomes all who desire to discover Christ and the Catholic Faith!
